Hi folks, hope you're all doing very well. Here's the latest news regarding this project and future projects:

All orders have shipped!

Yup, it's taken a very long time again, I know. Some managed to send 5 or 6 weeks ago, most around 3-4 weeks ago. A few problem orders just shipped a week ago. In many cases i paid extra to get you your socks sooner, if the difference wasn't too much. This is especially the case with UK, France and Germany.   Apologies for the delay to some packages, i hope they're worth the wait.

Tracking

Nearly all packages have tracking and in most cases, if you provided an email address, you should have received a tracking number. If you're unsure how/where to check it, you can do so here:

So please message me next week if you still haven't received anything and/or can't see what's happening with the tracking number.

Missing socks/wrong orders

Firstly, i'm sorry to say a total of 15 orders (out of 285) have 1 design missing, due to insufficient stock. The only new design affected is the Gameboy design in medium. I'm not quite sure how it happened but the number i ordered was less than we eventually had requested. So in most cases i've replaced them with another. In some cases i've refunded. If you received neither or are unhappy, please let me know and i'll sort out a refund for that pair. 

   Second, i promised a few people bonus pairs from the last project. If that is the case, but you didn't receive them in this order, please get in touch (ideally with your full address and email and i'll make sure to get those out to you. I tried to note them all down but i may have missed some).

If you have any thoughts you wish to share, please message me, comment on the KS page or let me know  by commenting on the new designs i'll be posting to facebook very soon. I won't take it personally and appreciate honest opinions.

Movie Socks! 

I wanted to show you new designs but we're not quite ready yet. We should have 12 different movies, each with several variants for you to choose from.  One is a mashup of many designs. I hope to have the new project out around December or January. And possibly Sock Invaders 3 around April, as we have several designs already finished. 

Personal Life

I just celebrated my 36th birthday recently in Thailand, but now back in Korea to work on some projects. I've made many mistakes, learned a lot, been touched by many kind backers and hope to really raise the quality and efficiency next time around. I know there's potential there, so please do let me know any thoughts you may have and let's really make something special next time.

Shipping Has Finally Started

Hey guys,

   Hope you're all well and having a lovely day. Sorry for the long delay since the last post. It's been a very challenging few weeks for me, simply trying to get one Chinese manufacturer to pass on our funky socks to the fulfilment company. After being an awkward go between for a while, i got them to communicate with each other. But somehow still issues with barcodes and skus and labelling and then finally payment for delivery slowed things down. 

   But the good news is that packages have started to be sent and will continue over next week. I guess we're 4-6 weeks behind where i hoped we'd be when launching. If anyone had them planned for weddings or birthdays, i can only apologise. Hopefully they'll make nice Christmas presents anyway. 

   After a long summer in the UK, i'm currently in Thailand and working on more projects. If anyone is around in this part of the world, feel free to get in touch. Oh and if you feel like taking pics of your new socks when they arrive, please use the hashtag #SockInvaders so we can give it a like too. Do please let me know your thoughts on how they turned out and how they can be improved next time.

   Thanks again for your patience. Really need to find ways to shorten this process, but we're finally there now!

Quick Update: Shipping starts around 10th of August.

Hey guys,

Hope you're having a brilliant summer. Apologies for the long radio silence. Production has been on going for quite some time. A bit longer than expected. One slight delay was ensuring the sword on the heel of one design doesn't get chopped in half by the heel. Which has been fixed.

Production will finish by August 7th and hope to be shipping within a couple of days. It should take 5-15 days depending on the country and size of the order. I'll have more info on that soon. Thanks very much for your patience! I need to find more ways to cut down the waiting time in the future.

Hey guys,

Really short update. Thanks to everyone who sent their surveys back already. We are up to 200 out of 245. So just a few more needed before we can start production.

Also big thanks to everyone who took advantage of Backerkit to order additional pairs or designs from the first project. I wasn't sure if it was worth using, but thanks to this, i'll use it again next time!
