Surveys This Week + Bonus Pair for Everyone!

Hello!
Sorry it's been a while, just wanted to let you know the surveys will be coming in the next couple of days! We had to wait 2 weeks for Kickstarter to release the funds, plus a couple of days for the bank transfer, but it finally arrived today, even though literally everyone had paid up after just a few days. Silly Kickstarter!
Next Project
You may be interested to know that, following your survey feedback, work has begun on the next project, which will be a change from classic games. I'm currently hard at work on... Movie socks! With designs inspired from movies like Jaws, Inception, Pulp Fiction, E.T. etc. Nothing to show yet, but you can see below the kind of simple art and design style we'll be going for, to keep them classy and subtle. Check us out on social media and i'll post updates and get your feedback.
Bonus Pair
So the first bit of good news is that it felt a bit weird giving so many people a free pair for answering the survey and backing so quickly, but not others - so i just figured let's just give everyone a free pair. So if you weren't expecting one, well, you have one. It's all in the survey.
Also i was originally going to pick one new design and make everyone have that as a bonus. But instead, you have a choice of 7 designs from the previous project, so i hope there's something for everyone.
If for any reason you were expecting or promised more than one bonus pair, please buy the extra pairs at the checkout and send me a private message, and i'll refund you via kickstarter. It's the easiest way.
Backerkit Surveys
The second bit of good news, as reported last time, is that i paid extra this time for Backerkit surveys, which are a much more flexible experience. For anyone who hasn't used Backerkit, i've taken some screenshots below, to walk you through the process. It really is quite simple though.

Next, start choosing the size and design for each pair
This is where you can choose a bonus pair for free.
Finally, you'll be able to add any number of previous designs to your order, at half price (some there's as few as just 9 pairs remaining in the whole world)
Production/Delivery Schedule
The schedule is currently on track and looks a bit like this:
June 20-22nd: Send Surveys
June 27th: Socks begin production
July 25th: Socks ready to be shipped
Early August: Socks Arrive.

Greetings one and all,
I hope you're having a wonderful weekend. Just checking in with some quick updates and a chance for you to tell us which designs you want unlocked with stretch goals. Please read on for more info:
1. Weekly Update
In all honesty, there's not much news to report. I haven't done as good a job with promotion this time around, so it looks like it's just us plus hopefully a few last minute backers at the end. But that's OK, we got funded and a smaller project is a lot more manageable! I am however hard at work on future designs, which i hope to be able to show you before the project ends. We currently have 202 backers and have unlocked 2 stretch goals with 2 weeks still to go.
2. Stretch Goals Survey!
Last week i sent a survey out to backers of the previous project (probably 80% of you backed the last one) and one recommendation was to let you guys vote on stretch goals, rather than for me to make that choice. So... here it is. Feel free to answer as many or as few questions as you like. The information will also help with sock sizes, in case there's something i can do to make them even better. Below are images to help answer the questions.

One Week Update...

Hope you're doing well. Just want to give a quick update on how the project is going, what's coming up and i'd like to ask for your feedback, ideas and suggestions going forward.

1. Project Update
Amount Raised: £4691
Backers: 179
Percentage: 235%
Well we got off to a flying start this time last week. It was beyond anything i could have expected. We've since passed the first stretch goal and slowly coming up to the second. We're still ahead of the previous project, but the momentum is not really with us at the moment. I have some ideas still to try, so hopefully things will turn around soon.

2. Stretch Goals
We reached 200% after just a few days and that means Q*bert makes a return! It's the same design that was available in a medium last time around, but now it's in large. We're closing in on the 250% stretch goal, which is an alternative version of the Mario design.

3. Feedback
Please let me know your thoughts on the designs, the project video, the page and any ideas for how to improve. The more we raise, the more designs we can get made. So if you have any thoughts on how we can promote better and reach more people, i'd be glad to hear it.
4. Making of a Design: Mario
This design took a long time to make and we went through many iterations. So it's a good example of just how hard the process can be. We started out inspired by the game N++ and made some initial drafts:
I didn't feel these were quite good enough, the details too small and colours not bold or bright enough, so we continued to experiment:
I liked the platform aspect, but still not bold enough. Or possibly as familiar to many gamers. So we switched to a more recognisable platformer for a similar idea:
The design was starting to come together, using the boxes from mario as part of the pattern. But still, too much empty space and not vibrant enough. So we tried again:
Finally, with the pattern in the background, and the boxes scattered around, i felt this finally was a design worthy of Sock Invaders and the collection we made previously. It took many tries and 2 artists, but we got there eventually!

Congratulations everyone!
After almost a year of designing,redesigning, making samples, filming the video etc - i put this project out there yesterday, not sure what kind of response to expect. And you guys funded it in under 2 hours! Thank you so much!! I wasn't sure if we could match last year's achievement but I underestimated your love of funky socks. So thank you again!!!
Like last time, i hope we can unlock many new designs together. Some are previous designs that only launched in one size - so now we can have them in both sizes. They will be improved of course. Below are some of the designs we'll make available in both Large and Medium this time:
Plus we have 5 alternative color variants from the current project. They're not set in stone, some of them could change. Just follow us on Instagram or Facebook to help decide the final choice.
Finally we have up to 3 more designs, which i'll reveal later in the project. However here's a hint below for one of them:
Once again, we can only make more designs if we get more funding, so please tell your friends and family about this project, especially if they like video games or funky socks. I can't thank you enough for so quickly funding this and helping me to make more socks. You guys are the best!
